On Sunday, May 18th at the Red Fez (209 B W. 5th St.), local Austin I.S.D. students from the Anthropos Arts music education program will perform live on stage with members of Atash, La Tribu, The Scabs, Austin Symphony and Lyric Opera, Son y No Son, and many other local talents.

Anthropos Arts is a local non-profit music education organization which brings Austin professional musicians into Title I public schools, providing a series of free lessons and workshops to economically disadvantaged students. All proceeds from the show go towards the continuation and expansion of this process.

Doors open at 5:00 p.m. -- $10 cover (sliding scale)

Students and teachers will perform together from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. (Anthropos strings students will perform with Atash and special guests at 6:00pm, followed by the Anthropos jazz students performing with an all-star band of local and international talents)
