Anthropos Music takes large(400+) and small(1-2 classes) scale workshops to schools in which the majority of students come from low-income families.

Large-scale workshops are designed to bring the highest quality professional performers into schools to demonstrate their talents, while explaining the historical, geographical, and cultural significance of the music they play. Students are provided with take-home reference materials including outlines, maps, definitions, and further sources to which they can refer to continue their listening and learning.

Smaller participatory workshops focusing on the concepts of and approaches to improvisation are brought into band and orchestra classes as well. Each students learns to turn the scales they already know into melodies and solos.

Anthropos students play at the world-renowned 2004 Austin City Limits Festival.
