Friday, August 7th
7:30 – 8:30 a.m. SHARP
at: El Sol y La Luna
(600 E. 6th Street, at the corner of 6th & Red River – Ample street parking available.)

This is a friendly, free event that will celebrate Anthropos Arts and our vital music-education programs in public schools. You will meet Anthropos students and hear them play, and you'll learn about the impact we’re making on our students’ lives. You’ll also meet some of our musician-mentors, who are among Austin’s most well-respected performers. We will ask you to consider making an investment in our work, but you will not be under any obligation to do so. Coffee and a light breakfast will be served!

Seating is limited, so please RSVP.

The TENTH ANNIVERSARY STUDENT & MENTOR CONCERT, on Sunday, May 17th, 2009, at Stubb's, was a LOT of fun. 70 students from 10 middle and high schools across East Austin took the stage with their musician-mentors and performed diverse tunes, including improvised solos. Also, in honor of our 10th anniversary, our student & mentor show was followed by a full performance by The Gourds!
